IS LAUNCHING A CALL OF APPLICATION
for the position of doctorate, post-doctorate fellows, trainee researchers and independent researchers to obtain scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science (DSc) in legal sciences on the following specialties 12.00.01 – Theory and history of state and law. History of legal doctrines; 12.00.13 – Human rights
The position of basic doctoral studies for the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is open for those:
- who holds a master’s or higher education (specialty) diploma;
- who have at least 1 published scientific article and 2 research papers;
- who have at least two years of scientific and teaching experience or pedagogical work experience or certain scientific achievements.
The position of doctoral studies for the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) is open for those who holds a degree of Candidate of sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent diplomas obtained in foreign countries and have achieved significant scientific achievements after obtaining a scientific degree in accordance with the established procedure.
Applicants are required to register at the website http://phd.mininnovation.uz from September 15 to October 15, 2022, and submit the following documents (in a file folder) to the Scientific Secretary of the Institute of State and Law by October 15, 2022:
1. Application;
2. Brief biographical reference letter;
3. A copy of a master’s degree or higher education diploma (of a specialty program) for the registration as a basic doctoral student for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD); A copy of the Candidate of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) diploma or other equivalent academic degrees obtained abroad for the registration as a doctoral candidate for the Doctor of Science (DSc) degree;
4. A certified copy of the work record book;
5. List of scientific works and their copies;
6. Letter of Recommendation from work place;
7. Information about the subject, plan of dissertation and scientific supervisor/scientific consultant.
The selection of candidates is carried out according to the relevant conclusion of the admission commission of the State and Law Institute.
Documents will be accepted by the Scientific Secretary of the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Science of Uzbekistan from September 1 to October 15 at Mirzo Ulugbek Street, 81, Tashkent city, 100060 (address: Building of the former Institute of Oriental Studies, 3rd Floor, Room no.5).
The requirements for participation in the application contest and the list of required documents for applicants are specified in detail in the Instruction “On the Post-Higher Education” approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 22, 2017 no. 304.
