«Constitutional reforms: the experience of the countries of the world. Volume II» (collective monograph)

 

The second volume of the multi-volume “Constitutional reforms: the experience of the countries of the world” was prepared by the Center for Sustainable Development as part of the implementation of the tasks of in-depth study of foreign and international experience in constitutional development, defined in a number of speeches by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev and in his fundamental monograph “Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan ".

This volume is devoted to the study of best practices in the development of the constitutional and legal foundations for the activities of civil society institutions, the construction of a "welfare state", the protection of environmental and other related human rights, as integral components and the most important conditions for building an open and fair civil society, the implementation of the principles " Society is the initiator of reforms and sustainable development of the state as a whole.

The collective monograph also reflects the analysis of the main documents of the UN and other universal and regional organizations, in particular the OSCE, the EU and other structures related to the subject of study, existing foreign constitutions in order to identify trends in the development of modern international law, human rights, comparative and constitutional law, as well as current legislation.

The monograph may be of interest to the drafters of constitutions and laws, as well as commentaries on them, lawyers, lawyers, researchers, anyone interested in constitutionalism and modern statehood.

The publication was prepared for publication by the Center for Sustainable Development at the expense of subsidies allocated by the Public Fund for Support of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations and other Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
