A "Book Reading Hour" was organized at the Institute of State and Law.
In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-9, dated January 15, 2026, "On Measures to Develop a Culture of Reading and Increase Interest in Reading Among the Population," a "Book Corner" and a "Reading Hour" were established at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On October 26, 2026, as part of the "Reading Hour," Burhanuddin al-Marghinani’s work *Al-Hidayah* was discussed.
During the event, it was noted that the work places special emphasis on issues such as the relationship between religion and state affairs, as well as the consideration of the interests of the people.
Furthermore, it was highlighted that it is essential to examine the views presented in the work regarding social interactions and governance within the context of their historical period, and to analyze their spiritual and educational significance.
Speaking at the event, Professor M. Turgunov emphasized that questions of justice and religion occupy a significant place in *Al-Hidayah*, and that the work serves as an important resource for fostering historical memory and respect for national values among the younger generation. Those who participated actively in the event were presented with valuable gifts by the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of State and Law.
