Academy of Sciences and Bukhara regional administration: cooperation ties
Academicians and scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who are currently in the Bukhara region, discussed issues of further strengthening the integration of science and production in the region, implementing scientific developments in practice, and implementing innovative projects in order to deepen cooperation ties. At a working, practical meeting, the regional administrator B. Zaripov noted that today's meeting will be an important step in the socio-economic development of Bukhara, increasing its scientific potential, and realizing new opportunities.
— Today, against the backdrop of the strategic tasks set by our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to turn science into the main locomotive of socio-economic development of regions, the main goal of inviting you to Bukhara is to have a sincere dialogue, as well as to offer specific and practical solutions to real problems and opportunities in our region based on the most advanced achievements of science, — said B. Zaripov.
After that, the President of the Academy of Sciences Sh. Ayupov, Director of the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief Researcher of the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician A. Saidov and others took the floor and expressed their views and proposals on increasing the economic potential of the region, effectively using existing opportunities, implementing scientific developments in practice, and combining innovative projects with production.
It was noted that the Bukhara region has great opportunities in such areas as industry, agriculture, energy, effective use of water resources, introduction of modern technologies, and deep processing of local raw materials. Indeed, the scientific approach of scientists and specialists in the field plays an important role in fully utilizing this potential.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to finding scientifically based solutions to existing problems in the region, expanding cooperation between research institutions and production enterprises, and developing and implementing promising innovative projects.
As emphasized, the widespread application of scientific achievements in practice, along with increasing production efficiency, serves to create new jobs, produce competitive products, and ensure sustainable growth of the regional economy.
At the meeting, a number of proposals were put forward to combine scientific research with practical projects in areas important for the economic and social development of Bukhara, and to systematically establish cooperation between scientists and industry specialists.
At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Bukhara regional administration in order to widely involve scientific potential in the socio-economic development of the region, develop scientific research and innovation activities, and implement scientific developments in practice.
This document serves as an important legal and practical basis for bringing the integration of science and production in the Bukhara region to a new level, effectively using scientific potential for regional development, and implementing innovative projects.
