Based on the Development Strategy of the New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 and the Sustainable Development Goals, it should be noted that enhancing human dignity, ensuring justice and the rule of law, developing the national economy and ensuring the comprehensive development of society have become one of the most important tasks.
Based on the above goals, the authors in this explanatory dictionary consider the renaissance of modern statehood, the gradual development of society and legal systems, the historically existing Uzbek scientific and theoretical lexicographic traditions in our country, and the modern Uzbek legal language. They systematized the collected legal terms taking into account their requirements and characteristics, and tried to include legal, historical and modern words widely used in legal practice and theory, as well as other related disciplines.
This dictionary, which contains 4321 legal and other related terms, is intended for researchers in the Academy of Sciences, specialists engaged in legal education and practice, students, scientific researchers, doctoral students, as well as employees of law enforcement agencies and a wide readership.
