The Institute has a Board of Trustees, the composition of which is approved by the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The regulation on the Board of Trustees is approved by the Board of Trustees.
In addition to the tasks set by the legislation, the Board of Trustees includes, together with state authorities and administrations, local governments, public organizations, transport organizations of various forms of ownership, higher educational institutions, scientific, scientific and practical research centers, the organization of the effective implementation of fundamental, innovative and practical research and development in order to ensure close and effective interaction of public authorities and administration.
The Board of Trustees contributes to the comprehensive development of the Institute on the following priority issues:
- Effective implementation of legal research to bring the level of legal research to a qualitatively new level that determines the future prospects of socio-economic and political and legal reforms in the country;
- Support for new forms, programs and promising initiatives that contribute to the development of the Institute's activities, the effective implementation of the results of scientific developments in legislative activity and law enforcement practice;
- Development and implementation of the practice of concluding cooperation agreements on mutual cooperation;
- Establishment and development of international cooperation in the field of science and education;
- Assistance in attracting extra-budgetary funds, charitable foundations for the organization, maintenance and development of financial assistance to the Institute;
- Ensure compliance with the goals and objectives set for the institute.
