The main scientific activities of the Institute are:
– organization of consulting and expert assistance in legal reforms in the field of society and state building, judicial and socio-economic spheres;
– preparation of analytical documents containing proposals for improving the legal regulation of social relations for the legislature, executive and judiciary, law enforcement and other bodies based on the goals of sustainable development of the country;
– conducting fundamental interdisciplinary research in the field of state and law;
– raising the legal awareness and legal culture of the population, as well as public administration employees through the use of modern electronic information and educational technologies, promoting the formation of a culture of human rights;
– to carry out scientific activities in cooperation with public administration bodies, business associations, on the basis of agreements, to conclude agreements on cooperation with civil society institutions, international and foreign organizations in the field of science for the implementation of the most up-to-date legal research;
– direct participation in the training and advanced training of scientific personnel in accordance with modern requirements through the establishment of scientific councils, which organize the defense of dissertations in legal specialties;
– participation of the staff of the Institute in the work of scientific advisory councils, commissions and working groups under government agencies on the preparation of draft normative-legal and programmatic documents related to various aspects of state and public reform;
– establishment of the magazine "State and Law", published on a regular basis, the implementation of activities for the publication of collective and individual monographs, educational and methodological literature, scientific and methodological reviews of legislation, including their electronic form;
– holding and participating in international and national scientific events (conferences, symposiums, seminars) aimed at discussing current scientific and legal issues and developing recommendations for society;
– coordination and methodological support of research activities of higher education institutions and scientific organizations in the field of state and law in the country, as well as the establishment of a Coordinating Scientific Council for the study of state and legal issues.
