Abstract: As an example of tourism as a phenomenon with an economic impact on society, the authors cite a study conducted by John L. Crompton, Seokho Lee, and Thomas J. Shuster regarding the economic impact of tourism on the resort town of Ocean City (USA).
Ocean City is a traditional resort town stretching for 10 miles along a barrier island on the Maryland coast.
In conclusion, the authors recommend conducting similar studies in the tourist towns of Uzbekistan.
