Republican scientific and practical conference "Old age and modernity: current state, development trends and problems of the future"
The head of the department of the State and Law Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan M.Kh.Baratov, scientific secretary Sh.Rakhmatullaev took part in the conference with their lectures and talks on the topic of the day.
This conference was organized in cooperation with the State Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Neighborhood and Support for the Nurani, the Research Institute "Family and Women", and the "Nuroni" Foundation for Social Support of Veterans of Uzbekistan.
In addition, the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for the Development of Medical and Social Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Boarding House of Republican War and Labor Veterans, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Internal Affairs Ministry Academy and other partner organizations were invited.
The main goal of the conference is to discuss current issues related to the elderly, their social activity, effective use of their unused potential, their legal, social, medical, psychological support, socio-demographic trends observed in the world related to the age of the elderly, in this regard to study the opinions of practicing specialists and experts, to introduce the results of scientific research in the fields of elderly people, intergenerational relations, demography and sociogerontology, to respect the elderly among the population, to promote the effective use of their life and professional experiences It consists of sharing experiences on these issues, developing proposals and recommendations based on their results.
At the republican scientific-practical conference on "Old age and the present time: current situation, development trends and future problems", "On the work carried out to increase the scope and effectiveness of medical and social services provided to the elderly", "Social gerontology" current issues", "The main directions of the state policy on supporting the elderly and the elderly", "Issues of social protection of the elderly in the republican boarding house for war and labor veterans", "Active aging index - the basis of social policy for the elderly" About 15 lectures were heard, and at the end of it, a controversial question-and-answer session was held. About 30 articles presented at the conference will be published as a collection.
